Who We Are: The National Capital Club de Pétanque is a pétanque club with members from across the Washington DC metro area including Maryland, Northern Virginia and the city of Washington DC.

What is Pétanque? Pétanque (French pronunciation: [petɑ̃k]; Occitan: petanca [peˈtaŋkɔ]) is a form of boules where the goal is to throw metal balls as close as possible to a small wooden ball called a cochonnet (literally “piglet”) or jack, while standing inside a starting circle with both feet on the ground.

Really special photos of a wonderful teammate and his beautiful children!

Abdul, put bricks on their heads now before it’s too late! I remember when Aya showed up as a tiny infant!
